We want everyone who visits Wizards of the Peaks to have a magical gaming experience! In order to create a welcoming and enjoyable space for all, we ask EVERYONE who enters our store to follow our Code of Conduct. Wizards of the Peaks reserves the right to ask anyone to leave at any time and may, at our sole discretion, prohibit them from returning should they violate any portion of the Code of Conduct.
Use the Golden Rule. Everyone and everything in the store should be treated with the same respect that players expect for themselves and their property. Please respect your other players and our store by making space at the table and cleaning up after yourself.
Is it really winning if you’re cheating? Abide by the rules and play fair.
Demonstrate good sportsmanship. Be gracious in losing and winning.
We are a family friendly establishment. Be aware of the customers in the store and behave accordingly. Demonstrate good personal hygiene and wear appropriate clothing.
Games are fun! However, your fun should not infringe on others and their ability to have fun.
Share the fun by being patient, kind and helpful, especially to beginners.
We do not tolerate hate speech or bigoted behavior. This includes off-color “jokes”, racism, religious discrimination, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, purposeful misgendering, ableism, ageism, etc.
Drugs (even the legal ones), alcohol and weapons are not permitted inside our store. We do not have a liquor license. Only local law enforcement is permitted to carry concealed weapons. Smoking, including vaping, should be done outside.
We do not tolerate harassment or abusive behavior. This includes verbal, physical, sexual, bullying, jeering, heckling, etc. If another person indicates they no longer wish to speak to or interact with you, you must immediately cease your conversation and interaction with them.
Do not steal from your fellow players and do not steal from the store. Theft is disrespectful and will not be tolerated under any circumstance. Plus, you're on camera.
In addition, please don’t ask your fellow players to pay your admission or buy you merchandise. We understand that gaming can be an expensive hobby, however, it puts everyone in an uncomfortable situation when you show up to play without being able to pay.
